Luca Schenato served as Background Supervisor on six episodes of Season 5 of The Amazing World of Gumball. In this role, he oversaw the visual development of the background environments, ensuring stylistic consistency with the established look of the series.
Working with a team of artists, he supervised the creation of background setups that combined 3D rendering and photographic elements, maintaining the distinctive mixed-media aesthetic of the show. These environments were then prepared for the compositing , where the final scenes integrated the 2D characters within the layered background worlds.
